Pastor Travis Lewis has been preaching and singing and serving in ministries since his early teens, and has been in pastoral ministry since 1998. He served as a missionary in the Philippines for 15 years. During that time, he founded and pastored North Cebu Baptist Church in 2004, founded Lighthouse Baptist College in 2008, and founded Commonground Baptist Camp 2010. Presently, he is the Pastor of Hilltop Baptist Church in Angola, New York.
Pastor Travis grew up in Austin, Texas. He studied at Capitol City Baptist College from which he earned a degree in Missions. He was ordained as a minister of the gospel on January 20,2002. A practical preacher, Pastor Travis is known for applying the truths of God’s Word in a way that affects our everyday lives. Because of his hands-on style of ministry, Pastor Travis labors alongside the people in the church and cares about their everyday lives and their physical as well as spiritual needs. He still serves as the Director of Commonground Baptist Camp in the Philippines. He and his wife, Angela, have been married since 1995. They are proud parents of three adult children. Gideon Lewis is a member of a nearby Baptist church. Christopher & Alayna Doney are members of a Baptist church in Ohio, and are the parents of Pastor and Angela's first grandchild. Christian and Victoria Doney are members of Hilltop Baptist Church. |
